MY JOURNAL

December 3, 2008-

                After St. Andrew’s Day, my dad drove me to the library. At the library, I was able to do a concept map and a timeline. The concept map was easy to do because all I had to do was to draw a web and make is color coded. The timeline on the other hand was a little difficult because I had to think about what was important to do on each day, but I was able to do it. After an hour, my dad came to get me and we headed home. The rest of the night I did not want to do or think about the project.

December 4, 2008-

                During class, my group members Michelle Sailing and Geoffrey Gilmore, and I divide what we need to do over this week. I am assigned to research Google pictures, internet animation, strange facts, and habitat. At first I did not know what strange facts that I was. Like, what strange facts am I supposed to find? Anyway, I will do it though. I had basketball practice until 8:30 pm. I hate having to go home that late because you do not get to do much.  So, I did not do as much as I wanted to do yesterday.

December 5, 2008-

                During study hall, I decided that I need to find some information on our bacteria. Because I was assigned to find some pictures, I found just two that would be useful. I wrote some information on one of them and wrote some more information on the bacteria itself. After I got home, I just sat and watched my favorite two shows that I missed over the week. After that I did not do anything that had to do with the project.

December 6, 2008-

                Saturday. Of course I woke up really late but not as late as usual because my mom insisted that I need to begin my Saturday chores. Ugh. After that, I had my lunch and just sat around listening to music. After my relaxation period was over, I thought that I should begin my homework because I hate sleeping late on a Sunday night because it is really hard getting up the next morning for school. I started doing my math homework, just to get it out of the way. Then I did some history, some Spanish, then some English, leaving the best for last, Biology!!! I got on my computer to search for some animation videos that had to do with our bacteria. Man, I couldn’t find anything. That sucked but I just kept on looking. Remembered to be patient. After by non-success, I decided to call it a day.

December 7, 2008-

                Every Sundays, my family and I are really really busy, so this Sunday was not any different. After the busy day was over which only left me to only seven to eight hours, I decided that I would do some Biology.

December 8, 2008

                Today during class, we got to work on our projects, which was very helpful. Geoffrey had done quite some work over the weekend. After school was over, I decide that I would make an animation video because I was not able to find one.

December 9, 2008

                I was not having a very good day that day, so I did not do much on this project.

December 10, 2008

                After the day that I did not do anything, I decided to make the movie. I downloaded this media smashmash so I could make it. The downloading took a while but I got it. I began by thinking what I was going to make for the movie. I thought and thought but I had not ideas. Thinking about the movie theme was harder than I thought because I had to make it both education yet entertaining. That’s basically all that I did that day because I also had other work that I had to do.

December 11, 2008

                Four day before the project is due and my animation video just erased. Great!! Making the animation video is harder that it looks because it doesn’t give you many options. Im sooo mad I want to through this computer on the ground and jump on it!!!! But I don’t. I breathed in and out and tried to relax. I helped. I decide to do the rest of my homework.

December 12, 2008

                My college sister is coming today!!!! YEAH!!! So I decide that I am not going to do any work what so ever until Saturday.

December 13, 2008

                One more day. I make the animation video but then my computer begins to freeze. AHHHHH!!!!! WHY??? WHY??? WHY???? Why is this happening to me??!!! Okay, so I switch my computer of and leave it to rest for an hour. An hour later, I came to continue my project. Okay, so it began to work very well. WONDERFUL!! I made it all pretty and so educational. I didn’t think if it funny but it looks good.

December 14, 2008

                DUE DAY!!!! I woke up at 8:45 am to put my finishing touches on the animation video. Wow, it looked pretty good, not the best, but good. I loaded it onto the wiki page hoping that it would load on perfectly and work perfectly. Well, nothing is perfect, that I found out because now the video is not loading on when you click it. Great!! That was a disaster. Now I am just praying that it is just my computer and that it will work well not perfectly, tomorrow, during the presentation.
